  buttons Wind

The forecast shows wind velocity using coloured areas, where each colour stands for a particular range of wind speeds. The windspeed is also indicated by the size of the arrows. Wind speed in kilometres per hour is shown below the scale (0 .. 117). You can change to other scales using the drop down menu upper right.

  buttons Cloud

The forecast shows cloud cover using white and grey coloured areas. Darker grey means more and heavier clouds accumulated over all altitudes. The wind arrows on the cloud maps give direction and force at 850 hPa. Refer to the wind maps to see the relation of force to arrow size.

  buttons Temperature and Isobars

The forecast shows temperature using coloured areas, where each colour stands for a particular range of temperatures in degrees Celsius. Under Settings* you can change the scale to Farenheit. This will however not change the temperature numbers inside the circles or on isoterms which are always Celsius. The black lines are isobars with numbers in hPa.

buttons Precipitation (Rain, Snow, Freezing Rain)

The forecast shows rain usinga green scale, snow using a blue scale and freezing rain using a red scale. Darker colours within each scale mean more precipitation.

The scale shows how the colours relate to precipitation in millimetres per hour or centimetres per hour for snow. The red lines are isoterms with numbers in degrees Celsius.'
